We will incorporate the Texas Health Recommendations for Youth Clubs, as posted on the Opening Up Texas website.

Families with new or worsening symptoms consisting of any of the following, are asked to remain at home:
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- Loss of taste or smell
- Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit
- Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19
A Scout is Clean
Hand sanitizer (and disposable masks) are available at both entrances to the church building. Families are encouraged to wash their hands upon arrival and when exiting the building.
Regularly touched items such as chairs, tables, and door knobs will be disinfected using a commercially available solution, which is found on the CDC’s approved list of chemicals known to be effective against COVID-19. Furthermore, we will use a solution known to be safe for environments where children are present.
Reducing the Spread
We will reduce the spread of germs by encouraging the use of hand sanitizer, masks, separating families into their own tables, and by holding activities outside when possible. We ask families to wear masks when entering and exiting the building, in high traffic areas such as hallways or bathrooms, or when in close proximity to anyone outside of their household. Masks will be provided for anyone who does not have one.
Nobody should share a tent with a person outside of their own household.
Food will be prepared and served in such a way that attendees are not reaching into common containers or cross-contaminating dishes or utensils. All items will be cleaned using the four-bucket method, which includes a bleach sanitation step.
